DO NOT STOP A MEDICATION ON YOUR OWN. Ask your doctor whether it is safe for you to stop taking blood-thinning medication or anticoagulant,  for a certain time period prior to your procedure. Your doctor needs to advise you if it is necessary and when to stop taking your medications. If this is unclear, please call us.
