Amish Tilara, M.D. is a board certified physician specializing in Vascular and Interventional radiology. He has proven his clinical and academic excellence through immaculate training and contributions to the field of medicine. He has dedicated his practice to the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of medical conditions ranging from oncology to women’s health including vein treatment and treatment of uterine fibroids.

Dr. Tilara completed his undergraduate training from the University of Rochester with multiple academic achievements including induction to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated Manga Cum Laude. He then returned to his home state of New Jersey and attended Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where he graduated at the top of his medical school with high honors and was inaugurated as member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society for his superior scholastic achievements.

Dr. Tilara completed his residency at the prestigious Harvard Medical School / Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Diagnostic Radiology. During his residency, he served as the American College of Radiology Representative for Brigham and Women’s Hospital for the New England Society of Interventional Radiology, in addition to several other prestigious memberships in the Radiological Society of North America, American Medical Association, Partners Center of Expertise in Health Policy, and Society of Interventional Radiology.

Following his residency training, Dr. Tilara pursued a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Georgia’s very own, Emory University Hospital. Dr. Tilara wasted no time advancing the field of medicine through his several national presentations and research publications including articles appearing in the Journal of Stroke & Cerebrovascular Disease and the American Journal of Radiology. Dr. Tilara was privileged to win the Benjamin H. Josephson Fund, which allowed him to travel internationally and provide healthcare to the under served.

Dr. Tilara makes it a priority to practice true patient centered medicine. “It is important to listen and understand each patient’s medical issue and make a treatment plan that is individualized to him or her. “

In Dr. Tilara’s spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. His hobbies include reading, traveling, sports, and cooking.
