At Thanksgiving and throughout December, we all make a greater effort to express gratitude to the people we love, our coworkers, our friends, and others who touch our lives. We reach out to those who are sick or alone with donations or volunteer efforts. The holiday spirit is never far from our thoughts.
Vein Screening
As the holidays draw to a close, we begin to think about becoming our best selves in the New Year. Poor vein health can affect the ability to walk and function normally. At Atlanta Vascular & Vein Center, we offer vein screening to diagnose problems and create personalized treatment protocols for our patients. Your good health is our priority.
Make your veins happy again
Veins are the vessels that carry blood back to the heart and into the lungs where it is replenished with oxygen and nutrients. Veins and muscle help the blood travel upward to the heart from the legs and throughout the body. When we stand and walk, the muscles constrict, squeezing the veins and pushing the blood toward the heart through a system of valves. When we sit or at rest, the muscles relax and valves within the veins close to prevent blood from flowing back into the legs and feet. It’s a complicated system that sometimes breaks down. When it does, we hope you will give us a call at (678) 878-4555. Our office is convenient to Grayson, Winder, Suwanee, Flowery Branch, Norcross, Lilburn, Snellville, Duluth, and other cities in NE Atlanta. Dr. Amish Tilara and his staff use the most up-to-date ultrasound and laser equipment available to diagnose and treat spider or varicose veins using minimally invasive procedures for successful and long lasting results.
We take your symptoms seriously
If you have aching legs, unsightly spider or varicose veins, we offer state-of-the art treatment. Most of the work we do is covered by health insurance. Your vascular health is important. Vein treatment is not a cosmetic procedure. And some vein problems are more serious than others.
Injections for Pain
Our patients’ conditions vary. Patients who suffer from painful or chronic conditions can be treated by our interventional pain management specialists. Interventional pain management is a medical field devoted exclusively to the use of invasive techniques instead of medication or narcotics to treat painful disorders at the source.
Injections or nerve blocks work to provide temporary pain relief through the use of powerful medications, such as steroids and opioids, near the nerves to relieve pain. Most patients require two to three injections for maximum pain relief. Common nerve block injections:
- Epidural steroid injection (ESI)
- Joint injections
- Single nerve root blocks
- Sacroiliac joint injections
At Atlanta Vascular & Vein Center, we are grateful for our loyal patients, and we appreciate the trust you place in us. We promise to work hard every day to provide outstanding care to you, your family, and friends in the coming year. Happy Holidays and best wishes for a wonderful New Year.
Please contact us if you are ready to live your best “vascular” life this year. Our office is conveniently located for the cities of Lawrenceville, Duluth, Suwanee, Snellville, Winder and the surrounding communities.
